Chandelier Bing.

Next to my vintage watch, one accessory I will never leave the house without are dangling earrings. I would rather be naked than roam bsn online (?!?) or the city without them! I just love how they can alter my face's roundedness into a much more flattering, um, err, shape ... I guess. But seriously, it's just impressive how they turn a blah-everyday look into something of great elegance.

Pictured above is my favorite one/pair (at the moment; which really isn't saying a lot, seeing that it changes weekly, more on that later).

The B. Clan is in America!

A good chunk of my March + the start of April was basically spent with my high school besties.
(a very photo-heavy post : as they say, pictures are worth thousands of words)

Me, Karla & Kari in Times Square!!!
( Taken after we window shopped at Forever 21, right before our dinner at Tad's Steakhouse with Hero & Bryan / an all-mornighter Karaoke fest. We got home at 4:30 <3 <3 <3 )

The next day, we visited Mary in Philadelphia. Luckily, Ryan extended his stay so we got to hang out with him too!

With 1 of the 2 "crazy kids". I'll badly miss you, Merrr - she's almost leaving for the Philippines to get into Med school. :'''(

My favorite shot was this one taken by Ryan. I loff you girls!!!

Watched a Phillies (boo, I'm a Yankee through and through, loljk!) vs Rangers (I think?!?) game and got 'featured' on the jumbotron during half-time. :-P

This was how Karla and I looked like at the end of a funlong day, hee :
(Taken while we were supposed to be enjoying Hot Tub Time Machine ... or maybe we were just high from sniffing too much air purifiers, ehe.)

There will be more pictures to follow - it's just that, a certain someone *coughKARLAcough* still refuses to upload her shots on Facebook, hrmp!

Eeenie Meenie Haul : Sephora

Texas truck accident lawyers, unicorn trainers or you may already be aware of my obsession with Sephora; if not, let me reiterate it once again. Pictured above are how I spent my blogging earnings (I also got a new pair of black knee high boots out of it. And on that note, I sadly have to let go of my beloved, worn-out thigh highs, huhu).

Here's the "damage" (aka the girly 'necessities' my domain paid for)
Korres' Mango Butter Lipstick in #24 (Purple)
Koress' Mango Butter Lipstick in #54 (Fuschia)
Benefit's Feelin Cheeky! Minis (Benetint, High Beam, Posietint)
Sephora by OPI nail polish in Just A Little Dangerous
Sephora by OPI nail colour drying drops
Anastasia's lip/eyepencil sharpener

I am presently enforcing a (strict!) makeup buying ban on myself seeing as I have enough products/backups to last me through a year, maybe two. But if there's one thing my friends can attest to, it's that cosmetics are my kryptonite so... we'll see... dun, dun, dun!!!

Peg / Thinspo.

This summer, I need to be that girl that the boys are always throwing in, or playing splashies! with in the pool. That girl that just sits on his shoulders; whose endless laugh infects the whole of the vicinity. That girl that walks freely around the deck (or sits on 2 step stools) without looking for something to cover her belly - and is okay with those tagged photos the day after ...

Or I could just be that girl that snacks on Nutella while doing a Shaycarl marathon.

I love Sex ... and the City!

My favorite quote came from the series' finale : "I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love."
SATC gave me so much more than Samantha's sexual drive, Carrie's love for shoes/Big, Charlotte's enthusiasm when it comes to life/Burberry patterns and Miranda's cute Brady. I don't particularly recall when my obsession for this show started, all I remember is being in our living room back in the Philippines, cuddling my pillow while on my granny's rocking chair, imaginary-smoking a camacho triple maduro jkjkjk and watching it late at night over RPN 9 (local channel). Now that I'm single, living in New York and is a writer (ok, ok, technically a blogger) - to say that I could relate to Carrie Bradshaw's fictional existence (ok, ok, sans the dream apartment) is an understatement! <3

So this is what I do with my spare time.

1. Sing along Taylor Swift's Back to December over nine thousand times! Excuse the pained face, I'm suffering from the worst gum/toothache ever, crycrycry - I need to see a dentist, stat!
Note that the screencaps include some of my favorite things in the world: a neutral eyelid color (browns mixed with golds and shimmer), an unlimited Metrocard (for the Subway), dollar$ and my paycheck hee!

 2. Shop for more lipstick (and get 5 Lancome freebies along the way).
Get 5 full sized ones for yourself too by purchasing $35+ on Lancome.com with the code : MARCHBDAY (expires 3/31/2011).

3. Dream about fudge. (Taken when we went to the Outer Banks of Philadelphia... I cannot wait to go back!)

4. Watch Timeless Tales! Oh, childhood!
I remember tuning in to Cartoon Network every Sunday afternoon for new episodes of this show! It brought so much magic into my young life... wrapped me up and made me believe that everything will be good and right and the world was at peace. I loved ALL the stories, but the ones I liked the best were Rumpelstiltskin & The Ugly Duckling (its songs were funny yet it always made me cry - "You're not one of us, it's plain to see; when it comes to ducks you're ugly... why don't you just swim away" ).

Pretty Little Liars : The Withdrawal.

You have no idea how much this show has sucked me in. Trust me when I tell you that it should replace the now aging (in dire need of hgh pills?), faltering Gossip Girl (I still loff you, Blair <3) as your teen drama guilty pleasure.

Today is the first Monday of their spring hiatus and I feel like I'm about to die - seriously, the finale just heightened my infuriation because NOTHING ABOUT "A" WAS EVER ANSWERED! Emily continued to piss me off... she has got to be, the most boring lesbian in the universe! Aria & Ezra are still blah... I cannot wait for them to just break up! Spencer is whatever... I only like her 'cause she's cute. But my oh my, how Hanna & Caleb caught my eye... and if they don't pull the hottest guy back from Arizona, I am going to effing raise hell!

UGH.

I can have nice things.

"Hauls" and "What's Inside My Bag(s)" are my favorite things to search for online. There's just something about snooping into other girls' personal stuff that makes me feel peachy!

I used to carry an obnoxious-sized kit filled with necessities ~~*sanitizer, lotion, tampon, contacts solution*~~ and makeup [to retouch with]; but a few days ago, I decided to forego and toss away the lumpy sack to divide my keekee stuff into individual compartments... now everything looks prettier (and if a fashion / travel emergency arises, everything would be within easy access)!

Leopard-print (my fave kind) pouch from Lancome - free with Mom's purchase!

MAC's Blot Powder, NARS' Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer Duo, NARS' Orgasm  lip gloss, Clean & Clear's Oil Absorbing Sheets, Tarte's MultiplEYE mascara and Sephora's Super Shimmer lipgloss in Bronzed Beauty (mini).

Missha M's Perfect Cover BB Cream, Laura Mercier's Matte eyeshadow in Truffle, Maybelline's Age Rewind Face Primer, Make Up For Ever's Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick in #42, Laura Mercier's (mini) Fan Brush, a set of Ecotools' (kabuki, concealer & shadow) brushes, Sonia Kashuk's Double-ended travel brush, Lancome's Color Design Quad and two liners from Smashbox (Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx) and Sephora (in Silver Green)

I read it... so you don't have to.

The Kardashian Konfidential!!!
There's no denying that they aren't everywhere you look. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to read their "book"... duh, I love them (but my favorite Kardashian would have to be Mason, easily; such a munchkin!).

It's a part-memoir/self-help/medical job listings (lulzjoke) kind of read. Not classic, by any means, admittedly. There aren't any groundbreaking news, intriguing gossip or notable quotes. But obviously, would you really expect that from this one? A seemingly quirky venture from a group that is basically famous for being... well, famous; but certainly endearing - and a must for every true Kardashian doll out there.

I've included a badly taken shot (as like all the other pics I've taken with my webcam) of my favorite part of the book - it's their list of the top places to dine in (in my city):

There are six!
I've only been to one...
SERENDIPITY!!! <3

That's me with my face cut off, hee!
I was with Mary and Camille and we had the (from left to right) Frozen Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Sundae(?) and Frozen Mochaccino.

Their menu : check out the $1,000 sundae OMG!

Visiteurs.

March has been, and will pretty much be, a very exciting month for me because of three reasons.

1.) Nephews (that are almost my age) from Australia came to visit for five days! It was definitely great to finally put faces on names that I only knew from stories & letters.

2.) One of my very best friends from high school will be coming on Tuesday! She has actually been here before, a little over two years ago, I think? But unlike then, when she was with her whole family & they only visited for a month, this time she'll be staying for 90 days!

3.) And finally, the trip that I have looked forward to the most... my closest, favoritest cousins will be making their way back to the Big Apple! I hope they don't forget to pack marine binoculars with them, jk... I can't wait to see them.

And just to spice this semi-vague entry up a bit (I swear, my writing "skill" deteriorates day by day huhu), I will be posting pictures I've unearthed from when another good friend of mine, Camille, was here.

Fun fact: Jay-Z & Alicia Keys' music video for Empire State of Mind was shot at the red steps behind us.

I <3 PHILADELPHIA!!!

With my favorite wrestler, who actually got back in the wrestling scene, The Rock - err well, his wax figure, atleast!
(Covering my mouth with squiggles because it looked disgusting)

In the middle of Times Square & on top of the Empire State, hearts hearts hearts!!!
