The best thing is to look natural-- but it takes makeup to do that too!

Because of strict high school rules, I never got into makeup until college. I was as clueless as Alicia Silverstone about "proper application techniques" that the first time I plastered a mossy green eyeshadow on my lids (for a friend's debut), I looked like someone Manny Pacquiao had been on the ring with. In university, classmates (and sometimes even, teachers) often stopped me to say, "Your cheeks are so rosy, are those natural?" ... but I somehow managed to pull off the mestiza look - thanks to overblushing.

Three years ago, I started really getting into it, to the point of actually obsessing over it. My morning routine used to only consist of showering, brushing my teeth, dressing up and then brushing my hair - tasks that can be accomplished within 20 minutes (I should get trophies for that)! Now I need an hour MINIMUM.
